Is there a maximum number of students that can travel on a student group tour?

There is no maximum number.


If our group is visiting Canberra, who will book our visits to venues e.g. Parliament House, Australian War Memorial etc?

The staff at Morcombe Travel can book a complete venues itinerary on your behalf.


Do you cater for special dietary requirements & children with special needs?

Yes.


Can we request a seat-belt equipped coach for our student tour?

Yes.


Can students amend their travel arrangements when they are part of a school group itinerary?

Yes, but only for the return journey.


Can you arrange Travel Insurance in conjunction with the group tour and is it compulsory?

Yes.


What would you suggest as the best tip for organising a group tour?

Plan early and give parents a payment schedule over a set period of time. This will ensure that they can be involved and helps to increase the number of participants.


When should I start planning my tour?

The earlier you start, the more chance you will have of getting strong numbers and the tour will go ahead. It also makes it easier for you as there is more time to organise everything. We strongly recommend you start at least 12 months in advance.


Is there a minimum number of students required in order to arrange a group tour?

Yes there is a minimum number of people required in order to arrange a group tour — 10 students & 1 staff member.
